Group Rate Ends Friday March 6th
Located across the street from the King St Metro stop and the Alexandria Amtrak station. It's a 15 minute metro commute from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and a 1 hour metro commute from Dulles International Airport.
Rules:
- - WRC 2025 Ruleset.
- - 15/5 Uma.
- - Aka Nashi (No Red Fives).
- - Nagashi Mangan.
Format:
- - 10 round hanchan.
- - 75 minute round time.* (When time in the round is called players finish their current hand)*
- - Top 4 cut after round 8. Top 4 will play Rounds 9 and 10 as a set to determine 1st-4th. Players 5th and below will play Rounds 9 and 10 per usual.
- - We will be using a Swiss pairing system, pioneered by Riichi Nomi, where players will play against similar ranking opponents through out the tournament.
The DC Open 2026 is an American Riichi Association certified event.\

5-8th: $50
Trophies for Top 4
1st-8th prizes DOUBLE at 152 players.
Prize Wall:
All tournament games will award prize tickets that can be spent on prizes on our prize wall.
