Transportation
The venue is located across the street from the King St - Old Town Metro stop located on the Blue/Yellow line and the Alexandria, VA (ALX) Amtrak station. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is the closest airport with a ~15 minute metro ride, followed by Dulles International Airport (IAD) which is a ~1.5 hours commute via Metro.

- Aka-Nashi (No red 5s).
- Hanchans will last 75 minutes with no new hands starting after time's up. (75+0)
Cheating, harassment, and other unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.

Tardiness will be penalized.
Day 2 will have a plethora of side events available to all attendees and an on site stream to watch the tournament. Sunday Only pass $25.
Prizes
$750 prize pool for Top 4
The size of the prize pool increases after the Main Event reaches 100, 150, and 200 registered players.

ALL games played at the DC Open will reward prize tickets that can be spent on our Prize Wall. A full list of prizes will be posted before the event, but expect to see mahjong stickers, dice, bags, plushies and much more!
Sunday Side Events
The Sunday Runback
- Same ruleset as the Main Event.
- 3 Round running in parallel to the Main Event Top 32
- 9 am start time
SANMA-STYLE
- 3 player ruleset
- 3 Rounds 60+0
- Start time ~30 minutes after the conclusion of the Sunday Runback
On-Demand Friendlies
Any game mode you want to play at any time and earn prize tickets! We will help with coordinating matchmaking. Unique tilesets and rules available for rent:
- Washizu Mahjong
- Doman Mahjong (FFXIV Tileset)
- Saki Cards
- Cursed Sets (Play if you dare)
- We are open to other game mode suggestions!
Spectating
We will have a streamed table on Sunday and a designated area in the venue to watch the stream. The link to the stream will be posted here at a later date.
Refunds
Refunds and cancellations will be handled on a case by case basis and subject to a small processing fee.
